A bilingual English/Urdu personal site for an author, with a multi-language blog allowing posts in either language with proper SEO.
The client
Farzeen Lehra is an author who writes in both English and Urdu. The site needed to showcase her writing, give her a platform to publish new work, and work seamlessly across both languages.
The problem
Most off-the-shelf author websites assume a single language. Adding Urdu support means dealing with right-to-left text rendering, font selection, SEO metadata in both languages, and giving readers a clean way to switch — all of which most templates handle badly or not at all.
What we built
A clean, simple bilingual website with proper right-to-left rendering for Urdu pages and a clear language switcher. Every page has its English and Urdu equivalent at separate URLs so search engines can index both.
A multi-language blog where Farzeen can write posts in English, Urdu, or both. Each post has the right language metadata so it ranks correctly in search results.
Author-friendly content management through Sanity — Farzeen can publish new work without needing technical help.
